What happened to March?

With all of the things going on at igNew our blog has been a little neglected.

We've had a busy 5 weeks and a lot of good things are going on.  We moved from our Middletown office and are now operating out of Suite 600 in 9300 Shelbyville Road aka Hurstbourne Place.  We have been here for a little over a month and we are still waiting for "the man behind the curtain" to pick out a couch and bring in the flat panel television so we can hook up the Wii.  Brandon and John did get their Geek Desks put together, which is nice and Joey's door hanging basketball goal with a breakaway rim finally arrived.  Jason seems very excited to be next to the kitchen since the refrigerator is stocked with enough caffeine to run the lights and Mike feels fortunate to have an office without any windows.  Dan could use some help buying furniture for his office and for the time being, Dave seems content.

In other news, we are now working with two new companies, Hillsdale Furniture and Presbyterian Publishing, and everyone is excited about the long term opportunities with both.  We have taken on more of a leadership role with an existing client and it looks like a couple other clients are prepared to tackle some new project as well.  With all the new work we are prepared to add some needed bandwidth to our team and are currently evaluating some potential new igNew team members.

Our first quarter started out a little slow, but we are rockin' and rollin' now and feeling really good about where we are headed.

igNew becomes a Microsoft Certified Partner

by Dan Murphy February 19, 2010 16:12 - commentComments (2)

As of today, February 19th, 2010, igNew is a Microsoft Certified Partner with a competency in Custom Development Solutions specializing in Web Development.  Easy for me to say, right?  This partnership only makes sense since we do specialize in building custom solutions using Microsoft tools and technologies.  With that being said, we will be working to upgrade to a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner in the near future.  Congrats igNew team and keep working hard.

2009 was a great year. Looking for more in 2010!

by Dan Murphy January 25, 2010 09:35 - commentComments (0)

Admist the poor economy and high unemployment rate, igNew had a really promising 2009.  We were able to grow over 60% from 2008 to 2009 and had the great fortune of bringing on a couple new team members.  We have built some strong relationships with some new clients and are looking forward to working with them in the New Year.  igNew is working hard to build a brand that is respected in the industry and by continuing to work with great companies we will get there.  Thanks to everyone who aided us in our recent sucesses and we are excited about what 2010 has to offer.

The Tellennium Group becomes a new Client

by Dan Murphy November 9, 2009 10:28 - commentComments (1)

Like we didn't have enough going on already, igNew has just recently started working with a new client, The Tellennium Group. The Tellennium Group is a 10 year old company that uses technology to proactively help their clients with the continuous management of their telecom processes and expenses.  Much like igNew, they are great at what they do and on the verge of significant growth.  We will be assisting them with some new development efforts and both parties are looking forward to a long and working relationship.  Welcome aboard The Tellennium Group.

igNew client looking to move their headquarters

by Dan Murphy September 2, 2009 11:18 - commentComments (0)

I thought it was cool that a company igNew is already doing work for is contemplating moving their headquarters to Louisville.  It could turnout to be a big deal because they will bring some nice high-paying jobs to the area and we are looking to build a strong working realtionship with them as they grow.  Here are the figures on the new job generation.

"If it follows through with its plans, RecoverCare could create jobs for 90 Kentuckians within seven years, according to plans filed with the state. The company would consolidate its corporate offices, administration, customer-service operations, call center and order-processing functions in Louisville.

In the first two years, RecoverCare would bring 45 new jobs to Kentucky with an annual payroll of nearly $4.4 million, its filing said. The new jobs would have an average hourly wage of $37.98."

Take a look at the article from the Business First and lets keep our fingers crossed!
